Brand Refresh - Website Design - Brand Guidelines

Bark Raw Brand Refresh

The client originally requested a website design for their local dog-based consumables store, Bark Raw. Upon reviewing the brief, I proposed expanding the scope to include a rebrand of this ‘Unashamedly Local’ business.

The initial task was to collect assets and assess the current state of the brand. This allowed me to determine what could be changed and what needed to remain. I then created a comprehensive visual guideline that sets out rules for the brand to help maintain consistency. This included colour development, logo redesign, additional illustrations, typographic usage, and more.

Once the brand was refined and enhanced, the website design work could begin. The brand’s visual style is rustic with a flair of quirkiness, which is reflected in the guidelines. Therefore, the website was designed to follow this style, inform customers about the business, and sell products.
